Why shooting in Milos? • It’s an island Greeks like to keep for themselves, famous for its 77 fantastic beaches; beaches of all descriptions and textures spread around the island. In “THE ROUGH GUIDE to the Greek Islands” (edition May 2006 page 118), Boat tour around Milos is primarily described as one of the eight highlights of the Cyclades http://www.roughguides.com • In the ISLANDS magazine (US September/October 2006 issue), a famous northern beach is described as one of the 30 Best Undiscovered Beaches worldwide. http://www.islands.com • No need to worry about the weather anymore! If it’s not good, no need to be nervous or loose money; we can go opposite direction in the before chosen perfect substitute beach. • But it’s not only the beaches! A wide spectrum of different "feels" and many areas which are still untouched by time, 20min of driving away ; Unsurpassed dramatic landscapes stem out of the volcanic origin of the island; Unique traditional Cycladic architecture by the water, named “syrmata”. Not to mention the vibrant and hospitable people. |

Services we offer: • TRAVEL AGENCY: accommodation on Milos, transportation in relatively low cost prices, and hands-on involvement at every stage of the booking. (sudden changes, on the spot demands, etc) • COST ESTIMATE: Usually in less than 24h. The more detailed your brief, the more accurate the budget and the quality of the feedback. Best rates achieved when there is a “Package Agreement”. • SHOOTING PERMITS: Archaeological, Municipality’s, Port Authorities’ for underwater and beach shootings. We are able to obtain permits for productions to be shot at any desired location sites on the island, that are difficult to gain permission to film at. All attempts can be made to gain all permits however, as long as a sufficient time allowance is made for this process. • ARRANGEMENTS: for contacts, fixers, local people for casting and anything that will make a good shooting, better. • LOCATION SCOUTING: we possess very good knowledge of the island’s locations, life-style and ways: beaches, sea caves, island-historical places, driving roads, houses-yards, mountains, dramatic scenery, shops-restaurants, abandoned mines, traditional boats and other at your disposal; we keep an existing locations archive, so we can provide location references as stills and also videos on demand. • CATERING: The important sector of crew’s & cast diet is supplemented on the most remote location day or night by mobile kitchen services with quality fresh Mediterranean buffets and refreshments. If it happens that you travel around with your personal catering provider, we can help them get the best quality on the island. If all these are too much for your budget, a local tavern or a tasty and nutritious lunch pack can be offered instead. • STAFF: Except being Greek speakers, they also speak excellent English, German and Italian. |

What is the essence of our work? • We are the only Greek Travel agency specializing in assisting film productions, so far. The essence of our work is defined by our talented team, following a problem solving approach, able to satisfy last minute demands, sensitive content arrangements and even integrate with tactfulness into the production team assuming extra responsibilities. • Our team’s experience in shootings on Milos island dates back in 1991 from Frieda Liappa’s “The years of the Big Heat”, until recently, to Davidoff’s Cool Water new advertising campaign, September 2006.
